Amour

Amour is a fine dine Restaurant, Bar and Café in South New Delhi, India. The interiors, done by Studio US Designs are very rustic and earth toned – using textures of wood, fabric and stone work.

I started off on this project with a big splash of yellow and a very urban designs for the corporate identity.. You may have seen previous entries on my portfolio. Although it looked great, but with time we realised how subtle and reserved the place was going to be as the interiors started to come together. The logo didn’t change, however it’s usage did. I replaced the urban design with textured hand made paper and one colour printing. This change instantly widened the audience. The restaurant collateral in the same way uses hand made papers which adds to the rustic interiors. We still kept the yellows – but they are much more subtle now
